Bursary and NSFAS application support
A bursary is money awarded to help cover study costs. Your helper helps you explore funding options, check what documents are needed and submit the funding applications in your package. Each funder sets its own rules and makes its own decision.
NSFAS means National Student Financial Aid Scheme. Applying directly to NSFAS is free. You can use the official NSFAS website to apply yourself. Scenda charges for application help and is independent of NSFAS. Paying Scenda does not guarantee funding.
Student accommodation application help
Your helper can help with the student housing application in your package. Availability, costs and the documents required depend on the housing provider. A housing application does not reserve a room or guarantee an offer.

What happens after you sign up?
- Create an account with your email and WhatsApp number.
- Add your personal details and school marks. Upload the documents requested in your account; requirements vary by institution and funder.
- Pay for application support. Your helper checks your information and works on the applications in your package where applications are open.
- Check your account for replies and what to do next. Keep your contact details up to date.
How much does Scenda application help cost?
The Scenda package costs R649.90 once. It includes up to 5 university or college applications, up to 3 bursary applications, NSFAS application support, up to 2 student housing applications and a National Benchmark Test (NBT) application.
Some institutions charge separate application fees. The Scenda fee does not pay for tuition, books, transport or housing. Your helper explains which separate fees apply before you pay them. A parent, guardian or supporter can pay through a secure payment link.
